In 2001-2003, Gignoux worked with Bereavement Services at DUMC.
The Bereavement Advisory Council at Duke Hospital created a Service
of Remembrance for families that had lost loved ones. The service included
a ceremony in which families shared fabric that had been, in some significant
way, intimately connected to their remembered family member.
