MASTER CLASS: BOLD IMAGININGS, summer 2002
During the summer
of 2002, Gignoux taught a surface design class at Penland School
of Crafts entitled, Bold Imaginings. Writer, Susie Wilde led
the class in the development of a collaborative story: SING
UP TREE. Story text was hand stitched onto the quilt. Penland
School is a national center for craft education located in the Blue Ridge
Mountains of North Carolina.
